Greetings

I have been a professional illustrator and concept designer for 25 years. I am graduate of Savannah College of and Design with a BFA in Sequential Art. Notable clients and employers include DC Comics, Todd McFarlane Productions, Humanoids Inc., Creative Beast Studios, Aspen Comics and Sideshow Collectibles. I served as senior concept designer and art director for Sideshow’s record-selling Thanos on Throne maquette, as well as brand reinvigorating pieces like Voltron: Defender of the Universe Voltron Maquette, She-Ra Statue, Aspen and Grace Premium Format Figures.

In the multistage emigration journey from the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), I was exposed to sampling of cultures across Africa, Europe and North America at a young age. My work draws from this multicultural perspective to take a reconsidered approach to pop-culture and genre characters while also using influences from industrial design trends.

I'm currently working a personal project though I do take on interesting projects and commissions.

My favorite artists—and probably key influences as well—are Masamune Shirow, Syd Mead, Burne Hogarth (Tarzan), Hal Foster (Prince Valiant), Travis Charest, Koji Morimoto, John Berkey, Jean Giraud aka Moebius.

My favorite writers are William Gibson, Greg Bear and Masamune Shirow.

Even after catching them, watching them and drawing them; I'm still terrified of spiders. So now I'm working on a design for a mechanized one.

I speak English and French fluently.

I love NBA basketball.

I still daydream.
